"My what big teeth you have!"

-
Final me and my group have completed our film for video production. For our film we have done a spin on the tradional red riding hood story but mixed it with the tv show "How to catch a predator".

Our Film named "How to catch a carnivore" tells the story of the wolf being under survallience by a film crew. I feel the film has turned out great and really funny. I also feel I did ok with the acting to say this is the first film that has been produced and placed on Youtube lol :)

The video can be seen on my Youtube Channel or just click on the link below.

Hello again and fifth Digital Painting - Frankenstein's Monster

-

Hi there, Cant believe I have not written anything for more than six months... a lot has happened and I am more than happy to fill you in :) x As of April, I managed to get a job, as a Digital Content Editor at a digital and television agency in Lancashire, where I have worked on many videos promoting businesses in Burnley, Lancashire, which are on youtube and Vimeo. With this job it has been really hard to concentrate on my digital painting, but with some long weekends and determination I have managed to pull off my fifth Digital Painting, Frankenstein's Monster. Anyone that knows me knows that I am a big horror nut, and Hammer Horror and Universal Monsters are no exception. With Boris Karloff being my absolute favourite, I took it apon myself to create a "Monster" of a painting and here it is... I am extremely happy with the result and I have had many complements about the likeness and I am so happy with the result that I have had this made into a poster for...

Advanced Character Animation - Week 4 :)

-
On friday we had our last Advanced Character Animation session before directed study week. For the session we were given another assignment for when we come back after our week's holiday (Or should I say reading week lol). Our assignment is to create an animation from a rocket piece that I have worked on before... What we have to do is to show an emotion through the rocket and animate it. Lucky enough we dont have to model the rocket... but this animation has to be good stuff as this has quite a good mark for it :) I have decided to give the rocket an angry emotion. The idea is to have 2 rockets and 1 flies off and the other rocket is mad for the fact that he cant seem to take off from the platform. He throws himself a tantrum and within a split second he takes off a short distance then crashes back down and has a really mad look on his face! Hopefully I will manage to achieve this and recieve a good mark :) (Fingers crossed lol ) I also need to produce some research on the...

Three years of University... done and dusted :)

-
On the 17th of this month, I handed in my last ever University Module and finished my course... I am now waiting on results for two of my modules before, I know if I can graduate in July. I received my mark for my digital sculpting which I am disappointed with, as I feel I went through a week of long nights and put a load of hard work into it and came out with a poor mark... at the end of the day thou I have passed. Just need to take it as that I need more practise with mudbox and not take it to heart. Now I have a up and running website/ online portfolio which I am pleased with :) x www.tonihaythornwhite.weebly.com please feel free to have a look and give me some feedback, as hopefully I will be putting this to interviews :) I am hoping as well to take my photography to the next level, by hopefully getting a part time job in a studio, as I want to experiment in other forms of photography rather than landscape and wildlife. Any new photos will be on my portfolio and flickr ...
