Update :D
Again I have not on here for a while... and I have much to talk about...
It's nearly the easter weeks off and once again I am piled up with work... but at least this it's work that I am actually enjoying lol, also I am quite surprise that I am managing with my work while the forth series of True Blood is underway and what can I say this just might be the best series yet... lol :)
I am currently nearing the end of my second year and I am finallydoing the one module that I have wanted to do from the start... VFX (Visual Effects)
I have to say that I am really enjoying this module and can see myself doing this for a carrer, but I know that its not gonna be easy... never knew that the process of this artform was so technical and also presise. But I am willing to work hard and try to out do myself.... just need to put the time and effort in lol.
I am also enjoying Mocap and agian never knew that it would envolve so much... like the process are again challenging and quite technical... but Im gonna have to start looking at the possitive and not focusing on the negative. My mocap filming went great even though I looked like a total berk... but hopefully the data will be good and the end result will turn out well and possible be placed on my showreel.... fingers crossed :)
Again I have another group assignment and its fab to be placed within a group of great people. the aim is to present a presentaion of and animation and we have decided to go with Paul Berry's Sandman. Lets hope the presentation goes well....
And lastly I also have lighting to take care off as well... for this we have to light a scene and I have chosen to light a museum which contains remains of dinosaurs.... dont worry its not jurassic park lol. One main advantage of this module is that if the work turns ou well I might be given a placement at games company for lighting... this would be a great opportunity but I cant see me getting it as I feel that this is not my strong point... but then again what is?
I still feel like I have a lot to learn and sometimes feel that I am not good enough for this type of indusrty ... but if i knucle down and manage my time wisely I might stand a good chance of graduating and hopefully get a job in the industry :)
