Hello Again :)

Image
Hi guys, Again I have not written on here for some time know due to issues at home and work commitments. From my last post, I mentioned that I was the official photographer for the Kelbrook Tractor Run, which I have to say was pretty awesome! Loads of vintage tractors and the run from Kelbrook and over the Yorkshire Dales was amazing. I was absolutely grateful for the experience and met some great people.  If you would like to see the rest of my photos, please look on my website, under Kelbrook Tractor Run 2014, on www.tonihaythornwhitephotography-art.weebly.com At the moment, I am wanting to experiment with different forms of photography, for example fashion photography,  but finding it hard to get models at the moment. Hope to write back soon :) x

Hello again and fifth Digital Painting - Frankenstein's Monster

Image
Hi there, Cant believe I have not written anything for more than six months... a lot has happened and I am more than happy to fill you in :) x As of April, I managed to get a job, as a Digital Content Editor at a digital and television agency in Lancashire, where I have worked on many videos promoting businesses in Burnley, Lancashire, which are on youtube and Vimeo. With this job it has been really hard to concentrate on my digital painting, but with some long weekends and determination I have managed to pull off my fifth Digital Painting, Frankenstein's Monster. Anyone that knows me knows that I am a big horror nut, and Hammer Horror and Universal Monsters are no exception. With Boris Karloff being my absolute favourite, I took it apon myself to create a "Monster" of a painting and here it is... I am extremely happy with the result and I have had many complements about the likeness and I am so happy with the result that I have had this made into a poster for...

Fourth Digital Painting - Kate Beckinsale

Image
It has been quite a while since I wrote on here and also posted a digital painting, this is down to some circumstances that I have had to deal with and now I am back on the ball with the digital paintings... So here it is.... I am extremely pleased with the result and think this is the best painting so far... I am really happy with the textures that I have managed to produced from using different brushes within photoshop. Also the main objective was to add more detail than I normally do, which I believe I have done within the body suit and the details within the face. Any feedback would be appreciated and I hope to be continuing with the project :) * All rights to the original image (Movie Poster) belong to Len Wiseman, Lakeshore Entertainment  and Screen Gems
